Clarity before intervention.

A consultation should leave you better informed—even when the right decision is to wait. We separate concern from assumption, explain what each option can and cannot do, and build in review from the start.

Three ways to read a concern

These are educational pathways, not prescriptions. Suitability and sequencing are determined in consultation with an appropriately qualified clinician.

01

Skin quality

Texture, tone, hydration, barrier function and the way skin reflects light.

We assessHistory, sensitivity, routine, surface and pigment pattern.
May includeTopical plans, peels, microneedling or energy-based options after assessment.
ReviewTiming varies by modality, tolerance and clinical response.
02

Structure

Proportion, support, movement and the relationships between facial areas.

We assessAnatomy, movement, symmetry, prior treatment and your preferred degree of change.
May includeNon-treatment advice, injectables, devices or staged combinations when appropriate.
ReviewPlanned around the intervention, with earlier access if concerns arise.
03

Time

How a plan performs across seasons, healing phases and changing priorities.

We assessSchedule, recovery capacity, maintenance preference and long-term tolerance.
May includeSkin-health foundations, staged care or no intervention while conditions settle.
ReviewDefined before treatment so outcomes and concerns are not interpreted alone.

The consultation is part of the care.

Good decisions become easier when the sequence is visible; it prevents surprise treatment and pressure to decide in the room.

01

Listen

Your concern, medical history, past experience and boundaries establish the brief.

02

Assess

Skin, anatomy, movement and relevant contraindications are examined in context.

03

Explain

Options, alternatives, limitations, risk, cost, recovery and review are made clear.

04

Decide

You leave with time to consider. Treatment only follows appropriate consent and suitability.

Clinician in a calm consultation setting

No before-and-after theatre.

Images can inform, but they can also flatten context. We do not use dramatic sliders as a substitute for diagnosis, consent or a discussion of variability.

01Representative imagery is identified as such.
02Results are never guaranteed from another person’s outcome.
03Risks, alternatives and recovery belong beside benefits.
04Your decision is allowed to be “not now”.

What credible care should make visible.

Appropriate qualification

The clinician, prescriber and treatment setting should match the intervention being considered.

Informed consent

Benefits, material risks, alternatives, cost, recovery and aftercare should be understandable before treatment.

Continuity

You should know who to contact, when review happens, and what to do if a concern develops.

Proportionate care

The plan should be no more complex than the concern requires.

Clear questions.

Can I book a treatment directly?

This concept experience begins with consultation. In real clinical practice, treatment depends on medical suitability, consent and the regulations governing the service and location.

Will one consultation produce a plan?

Often it can clarify the next step, but complex concerns or medical history may require further assessment, records or a staged approach.

How is downtime discussed?

By modality and by person—not as a universal number. Expected recovery, variability, warning signs and aftercare should be part of consent.

Is this medical advice?

No. Aurelia Clinic is a DigiHold Concept Lab project. This page demonstrates a digital experience and does not provide diagnosis, treatment or emergency care.
